The company MACHINERY EUROPE s.r.o. is the leading used printing and binding machinery dealer in Central Europe. The brand KBA is one of those brands whose products occur most often in our offer, for many years.

The German company KBA was established in 1817, as a producer of letterpress machines, and was given the name Koenig & Bauer AG, thus it is one of the oldest existing firms in its range in the world. Since its plants were destroyed during the Second World War bombardment, it had to be in fact built once again. Step by step, during its development, it has established firstly as the manufacturer of rotogravure machines and, later on, it has succeeded with offset machines. Currently, it is the third biggest manufacturer of printing machinery in the world. Today, KBA manufactures also rotary(web) offset printing machines, binding machines, guillotines, and has approximately 7000 employees. Such an extension has happened in the beginning of the 90’s, last century, when it bought the East German manufacturer Polygraph Planeta. In 2006, the company has bought the Czech manufacturer of sheet-fed offset machines, Grafitec (the brand Polly, until 1992 the branch of Adast), and has transformed it into its branch, by then producing the Performa models and nowadays the Rapida models.

Currently, the main KBA’s production consists in: sheet-fed printing offset machines, web offset machines and guillotines.
